LET'S GET GLOWING!

If this is your first candle making gathering, I have "written the book" for you on exactly how to do it! You can snag a printed copy of my Get Lit: DIY Candle Making Party Guide on Amazon at this link or if you like instant gratification (like me!) you can download a copy of the guide on Etsy at this link. This guide will walk you through all the steps of candle making at home, what to buy, where to buy it, and also give you access to the Owner's Page where you can enjoy freebies and inspo.

Setting the Stage with Holiday Decor:

Transform your space into a winter wonderland with festive table decor! Setting up the candle pouring kits and space with a holiday aesthetic really makes the party pop! Use a white or green tablecloth as your canvas, and layer it with elements like evergreen garland and branches, seeded eucalyptus garland, pinecones, and the on-trend clusters of Tibetan brass bells. Consider using mini wreaths on the backs of chairs and some beautiful knotted cloths (for decor and a purpose!). Finish off the tablescape with some boho hyacinth placemats.

With this design, you are ready to set up the pouring kits for your guests.

Festive Vessels and Candle Making Kits:

For your holiday candle making party, there are a number of containers that exude holiday charm. Opt for amber vessels, copper containers, gold vessels, or snow-frosted glass jars. The options are endless, and they'll add a touch of personalization to your creations. Here are some of my favorite holiday candle vessels:

Selecting Holiday Scents:

When it comes to holiday candle making, scent selection is key. Choose scents that evoke the essence of the season. Some popular options include:

  • Evergreen Forest: A fresh and invigorating scent reminiscent of a snowy forest.

  • Spiced Cider: Warm notes of apple, cinnamon, and cloves create a cozy atmosphere.

  • Peppermint Twist: The refreshing scent of peppermint candy canes.

  • Gingerbread Delight: A sweet and spicy aroma that brings to mind freshly baked gingerbread cookies.

Feel free to mix and match scents to create unique holiday fragrances that your guests will adore. The book will give you tips and tricks for combining scents and where to get the best fragrance oils for your candles:

After I purchased my fragrance oil, I wanted to elevate the look of the containers. I purchased glass bottles with droppers for accuracy of measurement and cuteness, of course! Each fragrance needs a label so I created this downloadable template for the fragrance bottles on Etsy at this link. These fragrance jars below are perfect because they will go well with any party theme or design.

Make it easy with Printable Candle Making Tips and Instructions:

To ensure your guests have a fantastic candle making experience, print off and place these printable candle making tips and instructions in each persons candle making kit. These guides are designed to provide step-by-step assistance, making the candle-making process easy and enjoyable. You can get the pouring instruction printable on Etsy at this link and the the candle making tips on Etsy at this link. This download includes an editable Canva file so you can really get creative with your holiday design on these printables. The options are literally endless!

Get creative with custom labels:

After your guests enjoy the excitement of designing their own scent and pouring a personalized candle, they are going to want to show it off to the world that THEY made it! Download these printable labels on Etsy at this link. It's all part of the pouring experience for your guests to write in their chosen scent, where they made it, and a creative name for their holiday creation! This candle will be a keepsake and unforgettable memory that they can revisit throughout the entire holiday season as they light their candle!

HAPPY HOLIDAY CANDLE MAKING!
